FIELD: nuclear physics and equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fuel assemblies of nuclear reactors. Fuel assembly of nuclear reactor includes head, bundle of fuel elements, spacer grids and antidebris filter. Antidebris filter is installed in the shank of the fuel assembly and is made in the form of groups of rectilinear plates located in the cross-section of the shank. Upper and lower groups of plates are located at an angle to longitudinal axis of fuel assembly and are connected by middle group of plates parallel to longitudinal axis of fuel assembly so that channels are formed along lengthwise axis of fuel assembly rectangular cross section for heat carrier passage. Channels formed by upper and middle groups of plates are located at angle 0…15° to fuel assembly longitudinal axis. Channels formed by middle and lower groups of plates are arranged at angle of 15…25° to longitudinal axis of fuel assembly with inclination opposite to inclination of channels formed by upper and middle groups of plates. Upper and lower groups of plates are located along longitudinal axis of fuel assembly with clearance.
EFFECT: technical result is higher reliability and efficiency of fuel assembly.
