FIELD: nuclear energy.
SUBSTANCE: fuel assembly of a nuclear reactor contains a head, a bundle of fuel elements, spacer grids, and an anti-debris filter. Anti-debris filter is made in the form of groups of straight plates. The upper and lower groups of plates are located at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the fuel assembly and are connected by the middle group of plates to form channels of rectangular cross section. The channels are located at an angle of 0…15° to the longitudinal axis of the fuel assembly, the channels formed by the middle and lower groups of plates are located at an angle of 15…30°. The channels formed by the upper and middle groups of plates are displaced relative to the channels formed by the middle and lower groups of plates in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the fuel assembly. The plates of the upper and lower groups on the lower edges have chamfers up to 1/2 of their thickness.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability and operability of the fuel assembly by improving the design of the anti-debris filter.
