FIELD: biochemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the single-domain sdAb antibody to arachidonate-12-lipoxygenase ALOX12 capable of specifically binding with ALOX12 antigen. Also disclosed is use of said antibody for treating a disease mediated by ALOX12, for preventing the development of a disease mediated by ALOX12, as well as to prevent recurrence of disease mediated by ALOX12. Invention also relates to an isolated polypeptide capable of specifically binding to ALOX12 antigen.

EFFECT: invention enables effective treatment of ALOX12 mediated disease in a subject.
