SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the single-domain sdAb antibody to the human immunodeficiency virus type 1 reverse transcriptase capable of specifically binding to the human immunodeficiency virus type 1 antigen, as well as to use thereof for treating human immunodeficiency virus type 1, for preventing the development of human immunodeficiency virus type 1, as well as to use thereof for preventing recurrence of human immunodeficiency virus type 1. Also disclosed is an isolated polypeptide capable of specifically binding to antigen of reverse transcriptase of human immunodeficiency virus type 1.

EFFECT: invention enables effective treatment of type 1 human immunodeficiency virus.
