FIELD: detergents.

SUBSTANCE: present invention is aimed at a mixture for producing detergent compositions for washing or detergent compositions for cleaning agents, containing (A) from 90 to 99.999 wt % of mono-, di- or tri-alkali salts of racemic methylglycine-diacetic acid (MGDA), and (B) from 0.001 to 10 wt % of diacetic acid derivative of aspartate in form of free acid or in form of mono-, di-, tri- or tetra-alkali salt, wherein percentage values refer to sum of (A) and (B).

EFFECT: technical result is providing highly concentrated aqueous solutions of chelating agents, such as MGDA, which are stable at temperatures in the range from zero to 50 °C without addition of surfactants or organic polymers, provision of chelating agents, which exhibit improved resistance to strong bases, such as solid potassium hydroxide or solid sodium hydroxide, method of producing highly concentrated aqueous solutions of chelating agents, such as MGDA, which are stable at temperatures ranging from zero to 50 °C.
