FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a gas/liquid separation device arranged in a recirculation zone of reactors with a three-phase fluidised bed, used in hydrocracking processes of heavy hydrocarbon residues in the presence of hydrogen under high pressure, where recirculation zone (39) is formed by upper hemisphere of reactor, in lower part is limited by conical surface (30), allowing to return separated liquid into catalytic zone. Device consists of multiple separation elements (27) and (28) operating in parallel and installed vertically, starting from conic surface (30) of recirculation zone (39), wherein each of separation elements (27) and (28) has gas-liquid mixture inlet channel (70) open on conical surface (30), rising to height H in inner space of separation zone (39) and ending with sequence of two bends. First bend lies in plane (zy) defined by axis z, in fact, vertical, and axis y belonging to plane (xy) perpendicular to axis z, and its orientation is determined by angle α ranging from 45 to 315°, preferably from 60 to 300°, more preferably from 80 to 200°, second bend lies in plane (xy), wherein axis x is perpendicular to axis y, and its orientation is determined by angle β, ranging from 0 to 135°, preferably from 10 to 110°, more preferably 30 to 100°, wherein two consecutive bends are separated by distance D1 making D/2 to 4D, preferably D/2 to 2D, where D denotes channel diameter (70). Invention also relates to methods for hydrocracking heavy hydrocarbon residues in a three-phase fluidized bed using a device.
EFFECT: technical result is efficient separation of gas and liquid.
