FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a three-phase reactor for carrying out a reaction between a hydrocarbon feedstock and hydrogen, more specifically for hydroprocessing liquid heavy hydrocarbons, similar to that implemented by the H-OIL™ method. Reactor includes housing (10) with upper end (48) and a device for separating gas from liquid, which includes: recirculation bowl (30) located above the catalytic reaction zone, limiting, together with upper end (48) of the housing, recirculation zone (30) consisting of an upper cylindrical part (42) passing into lower part (43) with a decreasing cross-section and variable angle β inclination, equipped with vertical channels (27) for passage of gas-liquid mixture coming from catalytic reaction zone, and characterized by a certain angle β inclination from 50° up to 85° relative to axis (Z) of cylindrical part (42), liquid recirculation channel (25) located at the top of the above lower part and connected by liquid connection to the lower end of the housing by means of recirculation.
EFFECT: improved parameters of hydroprocessing, namely increased stability of produced liquid effluents.
