FIELD: nuclear medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to infusion system (10) for use in nuclear medicine and can be used to create and infuse radioactive fluid infusion to a patient, passing diagnostic imaging procedure. Infusion system comprises frame (30) on which a radioactive isotope generator (52) is installed, which produces a radioactive eluate by elution. Beta-radiation detector (58) and a gamma radiation detector (60) are mounted on the frame. Beta-radiation detector is designed to measure beta radiation emitted by a radioactive eluate which is generated by a generator. Gamma radiation detector is designed to measure gamma radiation emitted by a portion of a radioactive eluate to assess the safety of the radioactive eluate delivered by the infusion system.
EFFECT: technical result is the possibility to exclude long-living radioactive isotopes, which are pollutants, from the infusion input of the patient.
