FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermally stable compositions of paraffin deposition inhibitors during production of crude oil. Composition inhibiting paraffin deposition contains from approximately 1–30 wt % polymer which inhibits paraffin deposition, containing an alkylphenol-formaldehyde copolymer having given formula I, at least one purified oil solvent and one or more non-polymeric compounds, containing 1–8 carbon atoms having a LogP distribution coefficient less than about 1, molecular weight of about 20 to 200 g/mol, where one or more non-polymer compounds are 1–10 wt % of composition and composition is a stable non-aqueous composition, fluid at −40 °C. Crude oil composition comprising a crude oil source and said composition present in a crude oil source in an amount of about 5–10,000 ppm. Method for lowering solidification temperature of a paraffin deposition inhibiting composition involves preparing a paraffin deposition inhibiting composition, storage in a closed container at a first temperature between about −40 °C and 60 °C, or between about −40 °C and −20 °C, extraction from container at second temperature between approximately −40 °C and 60 °C, or between about −40 °C and −20 °C and its addition to source of crude oil by means of mechanical pump. Use of said paraffin deposition inhibiting composition for pumping or pouring at a temperature of about −20°C to −40 °C.

EFFECT: technical result is reduction of formation of solid substances at temperature from −40 to 60 °C, possibility of pumping at specified range without creation of high pressure of vapors at upper values of range.
