FIELD: automotive industry.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed group of inventions relates to means of controlling turn indicator. Method for controlling the turn indicator comprises steps of: determining whether the vehicle approaches the intersection; determining whether the intersection is an intersection with circular motion when it is determined that the vehicle is close to the intersection; obtaining the location of the entry road, through which the vehicle enters the intersection with circular motion, and location of exit road, on which vehicle leaves from intersection with circular motion, when it is determined that intersection is intersection with circular motion; and determining whether the turn indicator of the vehicle should indicate turn when the vehicle enters the intersection with circular motion in accordance with the mutual location of the approach road and the location of the exit road. Besides, one more version of the rotation index control method, as well as two versions of the turn indicator control device are implemented.

EFFECT: proposed group of inventions enables receiving the location of the approach road and the location of the exit road of the intersection with circular motion, determined to be located on the intended route of movement of the vehicle, and determines the need to indicate turn at departure to intersection with circular motion in accordance with mutual location of entry road and location of exit road.
