Controller includes a roundabout arrival evaluation unit, a unit for estimating relative position, which estimates the relative position between the vehicle entrance for the vehicle and the vehicle exit, and the direction indicator lights control unit. Direction indicator lights control unit is configured to evaluate whether the direction indicator lights should be extinguished in accordance with the mutual arrangement, when direction indicators are switched on for illumination by means of said control, and to extinguish the direction indicators after the vehicle in question has entered the roundabout.
