FIELD: computing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microprocessor-based protective relay and automation devices. The novelty is that it additionally contains an injection current generator, the input voltage level is controlled by monitored by means of a two-channel analog-to-digital conversion, and the device is additionally equipped with a two-wire communication line with an opto-isolation.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the accuracy and the possibility to program operating parameters of the discrete input via the communication line.
