FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates mechanical engineering, namely to the increase the heat flux passing through the elements of steel structures exposed to uneven heating by external source, it can be used, for example, in waste heat boilers and in other engineering structures. The use of a suspension of hexagonal boron nitride applied to the surface of the elements of steel structures, annealed in the air atmosphere at temperature of 300-500 °C to ensure the evaporation of the binder and sintering of boron nitride, as a covering to increase the heat flux passing through the elements of steel structures exposed to uneven surface heating by an external source, with simultaneous protection from an aggressive environment.
EFFECT: possibility of the use of a suspension of hexagonal boron nitride on an alcohol or water base to increase the heat flux passing through elements of steel structures exposed to uneven surface heating by an external source, with simultaneous protection from an aggressive environment.
