SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an improved method of producing a fluorinated compound represented by following formula (1), or a derivative of a closed ring compound, where R1, RX, R2a, R2b, R2c and R2d are defined in the claim, involving reaction of a compound represented by formula (2), where X is a removable group, with a compound of formula (3), in the presence of a reducing agent when exposed to light, where the reaction is carried out in the presence of a nitrogen-containing unsaturated heterocyclic compound having an N-H moiety.
EFFECT: present invention solves the problem of providing an efficient method of producing a fluoromethylene-containing compound.
