FIELD: electrical communication engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electroconductive materials used for leak detection. Conducting multilayer materials are especially suitable for checking water impermeability of roofs and other structures which do not allow leakage. Electrically conductive material (1) for application under a non-conductive waterproofing layer comprises a non-woven polymer layer (2) of PET (polyethylene terephthalate) or PP (polypropylene) and coating (3) with conducting particles, consisting of electroconductive carbon and/or metal particles (4), uniformly covering entire surface of polymer layer (2), and acrylic binder (5). Invention also relates to a method of making said electroconductive material and use thereof.
EFFECT: technical result is improved performance of materials with conductive layer with improved electroconductivity properties, easily installed in structures to be sealed, as well as having improved mechanical properties.
