FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a catalytic product, which ensures a removal of NOx via SCR and selective conversion of ammonia into nitrogen, the catalytic article comprises: (a) an extruded carrier having an inlet, an outlet and a plurality of channels through which exhaust gas flows during operation of the engine, and (b) a single-layer coating or double-layer coating on said carrier, where the single-layer coating contains a mixture of platinum on a low ammonia storage support with a first SCR catalyst, and the double-layer coating comprises a lower layer and an upper layer, where lower layer is between upper layer and extruded carrier, lower layer contains mixture of platinum on support with low accumulation of ammonia with first SCR catalyst, and upper layer contains second SCR catalyst, and extruded carrier comprises third SCR catalyst. Invention also relates to exhaust system, engine, vehicle, method to increase output of N2 from ammonia in exhaust gas and method to reduce formation of N2O from NH3 in exhaust gas.
EFFECT: technical result consists in formation of minimum amount of by-product nitrogen oxide and nitrous oxide.
