FIELD: emission processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a NOx catalyst-adsorber for processing emissions from internal combustion engines on a depleted mixture. The NOx catalyst-adsorber contains the first layer consisting of a carrier, platinum group metals located on the carrier and NOx-accumulating material. The carrier contains aluminum oxide or mixed oxide containing aluminum oxide. Platinum group metals consist of a mixture or an alloy of platinum and palladium. NOx-accumulating material consists of cerium oxide doped with lanthanum.
EFFECT: effective NOx accumulation at low temperatures and small or zero accumulation at higher temperatures are provided, in addition, easier and effective desulphurization is provided.
