SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an aerosol-generating material which emits an aerosol and/or gas when heated. Device for generation of inhaled aerosol and/or gas comprises material generating aerosol, which has connected to it heating element with electric resistance, at least partially immersed into aerosol-generating material, so that material generating aerosol is heated by means of direct contact with heating element with electric resistance. Aerosol-generating material is made in the form of a single structure and/or coating, which can be heated to generate a plurality of inhaled aerosol and/or gas doses, in which the aerosol-generating material is cast or extruded material, and at least a part of the heating element with electric resistance has a mesh shape.

EFFECT: technical result is controlling amount of released heat.
