SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to methods for control of a heater in an aerosol generating device, to an electric aerosol generating device, and to an aerosol generating system. The method for control of a heater in an aerosol generating device contains a heater containing at least one heating element made with the possibility of heating of aerosol forming substrate, and a power source for power supply to the heating element. The method includes stages, at which power supply to the heating element is controlled in such a way that, in the first phase, power is supplied to increase a temperature of the heating element from the initial temperature to the first temperature, and, in the second phase, power is supplied to decrease a temperature of the heating element from the first temperature to the second temperature. Power supplied to the heating element during the first phase is increased at least once during the first phase, and aerosol is generated during the second phase.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of quick aerosol generation after the device is activated without extra energy losses, as well as reduction in the risk of overheating of a cartridge and/or aerosol forming substrate.
