FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio communication and can be used in departmental communication systems of decametre range for generation, transmission and reception of radiograms (RG), with required probabilistic characteristics of correct and false detection of RG. In the method of transmitting and receiving discrete messages in a complex of decametre radio communication during generation of the symbols, the symbols of the service address sequence (SAS) are uniformly distributed among the symbols of the service phasing and encoded information sequences. Ratio of symbols of three categories carrying different information is characterized by value X - number of service or information symbols through which one symbol of service address sequence follows. In a distributed sequence for correct detection thereof with a required probability, it is allowed to receive several symbols distorted in binomial distribution among correctly received remaining symbols of the address sequence.
EFFECT: technical result is high noise immunity of reception, high probability of correct detection.
