Method of human culture rotavirus inactivation Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A61K39/00 C12N7/04

Abstract RU 2743300 C1

FIELD: pharmaceuticals.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of pharmaceuticals, namely, to inactivating human cultural rotavirus method. The method consists in the fact that the suspension of human rotavirus, obtained by successive passages on the culture of transplanted animal cells Cell Growth&Differentiation (CG&D), is subjected to freezing-thawing, centrifuged, then the resulting supernatant virus containing liquid is exposed to UV-C radiation with a wavelength of 253.7 nm, reaching a damaging biological dose of 178 J/m2.

EFFECT: invention provides 100% inactivation of rotavirus infectious properties, while maintaining its protein structure and immunogenic properties.
