FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to orthopaedics and traumatology, and can be used for restoration of active motions in shoulder and elbow joints in patients with arthrogryposis. Unipolar transposition of the distal portion of the greater pectoral muscle is performed. That is followed by transposition of the proximal portion of the greater pectoral muscle on the neurovascular bundle in the position of the anterior portion of the deltoid muscle with fixation to the clavicle and acromion.
EFFECT: method allows simultaneous restoration of active flexion in elbow and shoulder joint due to set of receptions of declared method.
