FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to orthopaedics and traumatology, and can be applied in reconstruction of biceps brachii in patients with arthrogryposis. Essence of method consists in monopolar transposition of distal part of pectoralis major muscle on neurovascular bundle. Fragment of aponeurosis of restus abdominis muscle is also included.
EFFECT: application of claimed invention makes it possible to avoid large operation trauma and impairment of shoulder joint function with borrowing all portions of pectoralis major muscle, efficiently restore active flexion in elbow joint of patients, prevent formation of flexion contracture and provide possibility of patient's self catering.
