FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely orthopaedics and traumatology, and can find application in treating children with arthrogryposis. The method consists in the separation of a long head of the triceps muscle of the arm on a neurovascular bundle and the transposition thereof into a position of the biceps of the arm. A graft of the long head of the triceps muscle of the arm is removed by using a fragment of an epiphyseal plate of a process of ulna and ulnar periosteum.
EFFECT: using the given invention enables recovering the extremity function and active flexion, reducing the number of intraoperative injuries, enabling patient's self-care.
