FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rolling and can be used in rolling in rolls and transfer of thin and extra-thin stripes of broadband rolling mills along discharge roller bed. Method of rolling and transporting thin strips along the deflecting roll table of the broad-strip mill includes synchronous braking of all finishing stands together with the strip and rollers of the discharge roll table. Strip is started to roll in finish group of stands at speed higher than required to obtain required temperature of rolling end. When the front end of the strip comes to the penultimate or final intercellular space, all stands of the mill and rollers of the discharge roll table together with the band is synchronously braked with acceleration -(0.8-1.5) m/s2 during the movement of the front end of the strip along the remaining inter-cell gaps of the finishing group and 10-15 m of the discharging roller table. Then, with acceleration of +(0.3-0.5) m/s2, strip is accelerated to rolling speed required for obtaining required temperature of rolling end.

EFFECT: as a result, there is reduced probability of takeoffs and loss of stability during transportation of front end and there is possibility of increasing speed of rolling strip.
