SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sea navigation and can be used in life rafts and lifeboats. Positioning stabilizer is connected with floating object by flexible link and is immersed into lower layers of water by its own weight, it comprises frame, mesh attached to the frame and rectangular plates from soft material attached to the grid tightly to each other along long sides. Flexible connection is fixed in the middle of lateral sides of the frame and has a limiter for location of the frame plane relative to itself. Centre of gravity of frame is shifted to its lower side, and plates from soft material are attached to grid by longitudinal edge with possibility of rotation around it.

EFFECT: achieving conversion of wave energy into operation against float object drift forces.
