FIELD: maritime navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to maritime navigation and can be used in lifeboats and small boats. The hydrodynamic anchor has hydrofoils and is connected to a float object and also has a frame including a central and two lateral keels connected by two pairs of lower and two upper cross-links. Hydrofoils are installed on the front links of the lower pairs of cross-links with possibility of limited rotation around these links. The rear transverse links of the lower pairs restrict possibility of turning the wings downward, and the upper transverse links restrict possibility of turning the wings upward, and the connection of the frame with a float object is made by a flexible link fixed at two points on the central keel of the frame, ensuring the required angle of attack between the flexible link and the plane of the frame and connected by guy wires to the side keels.
EFFECT: transformation of the energy of excitement into work against the forces of drift of the float object.
