FIELD: measurement.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment. Proposed method is implemented by means of in-line device with slot-type narrowing device. According to the invention, the flow method includes the following sequence of steps: calibration of in-line instrument, input into memory of computing device of universal dimensionless dependence of resistance coefficient of flow instrument from Reynolds number; installation of pipeline with flowing liquid of calibrated in-line instrument into rupture, determination of fluid viscosity.

EFFECT: technical result is creation of a universal flow method for continuous measurement of "effective" kinematic (dynamic) value of fluid transported via pipeline, including Newtonian, non-Newtonian or multicomponent mixture.
