FIELD: adhesive compositions.

SUBSTANCE: more specifically, this disclosure relates to two-component adhesive compositions based on a solvent, intended for use with multilayer films. Described is a two-component adhesive composition comprising: an isocyanate component containing an isocyanate prepolymer, which is a chemical reaction product: isocyanate, selected from a group consisting of: 1,3- and 1,4-phenylene diisocyanate, 1,5-naphthylene diisocyanate, 2,6-toluene diisocyanate, 2,4-oluylene diisocyanate (2,4-TDI), 2,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate (2,4'-MDI), 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate, 3,3'-dimethyl-4,4'-biphenyl diisocyanate (TODI ) and combinations of two or more of said; and an isocyanate-active component having average molecular weight greater than 1,000, which contains a polyester polyol; and a polyol component containing a polyether polyol, having average molecular weight less than 1,500, and an adhesion promoter, wherein the adhesion promoter is selected from: phosphoric acid, polyphosphoric acid, phosphoric acid ester and a mixture of two or more of the above, wherein the average functionality of the adhesive composition ranges from 2 to 2.5. Method of producing a laminated structure and a laminate are also described.

EFFECT: improved process characteristics, including low viscosity and long-term viability, high temperature and chemical resistance of the two-component adhesive composition.
