FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to broadband radar absorbent composite coatings and can be used for making materials used to absorb electromagnetic waves in objects of ground, aircraft, space and marine equipment to reduce their radar visibility, as well as for absorption of electromagnetic radiation in screening devices, in absorbing facing and housings, in anechoic measuring chambers and in means of protecting population from non-ionizing radiations. Wide-space radar absorbent composite coating contains radiotransparent binder and filler, filler is made of aluminum or its alloys nanoparticles, wherein content of filler in wideband radar-absorbent composite coating is 30–60 vol. %, balance is radio-transparent binder, and diameter of nanoparticles is equal to thickness of skin layer in aluminum or aluminum alloy at maximum absorbed frequency, wherein photon energy of maximum absorbed frequency does not exceed half-width at half maximum of distribution of longitudinal phonons by energy in aluminum or aluminum alloy.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at reduction of specific weight of broadband radar absorbent composite coating, high efficiency of absorbing radio-wave radiation and high width of the band of absorbed frequencies of radio-wave radiation from a minimum frequency of 10 MHz to a maximum frequency of 700 GHz.
