FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport engineering and can be used as a wheelchair mover for climbing public flights of stairs. The wheelchair chassis consists of three onboard low-pressure pneumatic satellite wheels located at the ends of one of the three radial assembly brackets, and a satellite wheel drive mechanism. Double-row pulleys are mounted on the semi-axes of the pneumatic satellite wheels, the transmission of torque to which is carried out by toothed belts with a group electric drive in one of the pneumatic satellite wheels or by three electric drives of equal power in three pneumatic satellite wheels, the total power of which is sufficient to move the chassis in the wheel -walking mode on a flight of stairs for general use.
EFFECT: simplification of the drive mechanism of pneumatic satellite wheels and expansion of the functionality of the chassis of wheelchairs when moving on hard surfaces with overcoming obstacles in the form of thresholds, curbs, scarps, including flights of stairs for general use.
