FIELD: animal and vegetable oils.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to essential oil industry and is intended for separation of essential oils from distillation waters. Device comprises a dispenser, a rotary drum freezer, unit for supply of coolant into cavity between internal and external walls of drum, knife device, receiver for frozen hydrolat. In addition, it contains a receiving bin for distillation water, which is equipped with a dosing unit for drop feed of the separated distillate onto the surface of the freezing rotating drum, above which a droplet separator is mounted. Housing of the device is equipped with a connection pipe for connecting a vacuum pump and with an inspection window. Knife working tool and receiver for collection of frozen hydrolat are located in lower point of rotation axis of freezing drum. In front of them there is a receiver for essential oil, which provides spontaneous flow of scattered drops of essential oil under action of gravitational forces.
EFFECT: device provides high intensity of the process of separating the distillate into essential oil and hydrolat while maintaining the qualitative and quantitative composition of the separated oil.
