SUBSTANCE: box structure (1) comprises a frame with at least one supporting element (10) made mainly of alloy steel and at least one structural element (2) mainly made of an aluminum alloy and containing at least one plate (16, 18), which has at least one longitudinal edge (22, 24) and a first surface (26, 32) bounded by the specified longitudinal edge. The body structure (1) additionally contains at least one longitudinal steel bar (56, 58; 156), made in one piece with the supporting element (10) and fixed to the first surface (26, 32) by means of friction welding (S) with mixing. The method of the body structure (1) manufacturing includes the stage of attaching the longitudinal bar (56, 58; 156) to the first surface (26, 32) by friction welding (S) with mixing through the longitudinal bar by applying a rotating tool (61) to the free surface (62) of the longitudinal bar.
EFFECT: invention simplifies the design while maintaining strength and durability.
