SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the fat-and-oil industry, namely to devices for separating the oil-containing parts of seeds, mainly amaranth embryos from starchy perisperm. The device for separating the embryos of amaranth seeds from starchy perisperm contains a housing inside which a horizontal rotating disc with cutting edges in the form of grooves or protrusions made on its upper surface is installed. The housing is equipped with nozzles supplying whole amaranth seeds, outputting intact starchy perisperm of amaranth seeds, outputting amaranth seed embryos, supplying inert gas. The supply of untreated whole amaranth seeds is organized from the top to the center of a horizontal rotating disc with cutting edges, the reception of ground seeds in the form of starchy perisperm and separated embryos is organized from the periphery of the horizontal rotating disc. Amaranth seed separation and further separation of products are organized in inert gas flows. In this case, the cutting edges located on the upper surface of the horizontal rotating disk are spiral-shaped with a bend directed towards the rotation of the disk.

EFFECT: invention improves efficiency of separation of amaranth seed embryos from starchy perisperm due to longer treatment of amaranth seeds on cutting edges of the disc and reducing clogging of cutting edges with fatty dust residues of amaranth embryos.
