FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, namely the device for percussion massage that provides a reciprocating motion. Method of application of the above device includes next steps: obtaining the device for percussion massage, where the device contains a case, consisting of the first, second and third parts of the handle, which interact, forming a handle hole, a power source, an engine located in the case, a switch for activating the engine, as well as a push rod assembly, functionally connected to the engine and made with the ability to move reciprocally in response to the activation of the engine, while the first part of the handle defines the first axis, the second part – the second axis, and the third part – the third axis, as well as the first, the second and the third axes interact, forming a triangle, with all parts of the handle are generally straight; engine activation via switch; grabbing the first, the second and the third part of the handle in turn and massaging the first part of the body. In the second embodiment, the device for percussion massage contains the above case, power source, switch for activating the engine and push rod assembly. The engine is configured to rotate a jagged shaft, which has a drive gear, around the axis of rotation of the shaft. The case contains a gear wheel located in it, which functionally connected with the drive gear and rotates around the axis of rotation of the gear wheel. The engine includes an engine shaft protruding outward from it and a gear connector assembly is located between the engine shaft and the jagged shaft. In the third embodiment, the device for percussion massage contains a case, a power source, an engine, a switch for activating the above engine and a push rod assembly. The pusher rod assembly includes the first rod section having proximal and distal ends and the second rod section having proximal and distal ends. The proximal end of the first rod section is functionally connected with the engine. An adapter assembly is located between the first and the second rod sections. The adapter assembly allows the first rod section to rotate relatively to the second rod section.
