FIELD: energy efficiency.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to defectoscopy of insulation of three-core three-phase cable lines with a rated voltage of 6 kV and above, in particular by the method of partial discharges (PD). Measurement cycles are carried out at specified discrete times of the amplitude values of the PD pulse signals. After that one should move on to comparison of such characteristics of partial discharges (PD) as the maximum amplitude of the PD with the number of repetitions of more than 10 times, the repetition rate of the PD, the average PD current, the PD power, measured at the same time intervals from 1 to 60 seconds, with different methods of applying a high-voltage test voltage for one, two and all three conductive cores of the cable. In this case, the partial discharge sensor is installed in the grounding circuit of the cable shield. This makes it possible to identify the most damaged zones of belt and core insulation due to the fact that in each of the connection schemes different sections of insulation are involved. Next, the type of probable emergency damage is determined: single-phase, two-phase or three-phase short circuit.
EFFECT: increased reliability and information content on the state of insulation of high-voltage three-core three-phase cable power lines and ensured energy efficiency and safety of their operation by taking into account the areas of electric field distribution in the belt and inter-core insulation of cable lines.
