FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: system is equipped with a fibre-optic distribution frame and an optical switch with the amount of optical output ports equal to six. An optical distribution frame is connected to the output ports of the optical switch, connected with the extended fibre-optic temperature sensors located both inside the cable between the insulation and the protective sheath and attached to the outer shell of the electric cable, two fibre-optic sensors per cable of one phase of the cable line. The system is equipped with a server of the automated production process control system, a cable line monitoring server, a network switch, a discrete information input/output unit, current sensors of the conductive core and the cable line screens, sensors for monitoring the parameters of the equipment of the transformer substation, and a temperature measurement processing and control unit.

EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of measurement of the temperature distribution of the conductive cores of the cable, expansion of the functional capabilities of the apparatus and increase in the reliability thereof.
