FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of measurement of partial discharge pulses of a shielded cable. In a method for measuring partial discharge pulses of a shielded cable (GK), communication capacitor (KK) is connected to the first place (AL1) of connecting a cable core. The first, the second and the third communication units (K1, K2, K3) are provided. Input (E) of the first communication unit (K1) is connected to communication capacitor (KK). An input of the second communication unit (K2) is connected to the first place (AS1) of connecting cable shield (GK), and an input of the third communication unit (K3) is connected to the second place (AS2) of connecting the shield. At the first place (AL1) of communicating the core, test voltage is generated. Depending on measured signals, at least one indicator for an apparent charge of the partial discharge pulse is determined.

EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of measurement.
