FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to resuscitation and intensive care, and can be used in respiratory therapy for new coronavirus infection (NCI) COVID-19 in patients on artificial lung ventilation. The method includes passing through the contour of an artificial respiration unit for 48 hours at a dose of 80 ppm, then reducing the dose to 40 ppm and conducting continuous inhalation until signs of acute respiratory distress syndrome are relieved.
EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to improve the treatment’s effectiveness and improve the clinical outcomes in patients with NCI COVID-19, who are on artificial lung ventilation.
