FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, and concerns a method for nutritional support in coronavirus infection involving administering a complex of agents aimed at intestinal microbiota recovery, immune system functions, metabolism, where in patients with mild or moderate disease, as well as after suffering severe COVID-19 infection, switched to enteral nutrition, said recovery agents are represented by: high-protein diet (HPD); oral administration of prebiotic preparations based on gel of fucus; patients receiving hepatoprotectors take with meals for restoring liver function; also for 1.5-2 months, a fish oil-based preparation containing polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) of omega-3; vitamin-mineral complexes containing minerals of zinc, selenium and vitamins; course of 1.5-2 months is taking vitamin D3 preparation; Maxilac symbiotic is taken; then - Stimbiphide prebiotic; during entire 2-3-month course of recovery, taking Yessentuki No. 4 chloride-hydrocarbonate-sodium borate mineral water, inhalation through a nebuliser with the same heated mineral water is performed 4-6 times day for 10 min, and after each meal rinses are performed with it.
EFFECT: invention provides nutritional support in coronavirus infection.
