FIELD: aerosol devices.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a heater and an aerosol generating device. The heater contains a heating element, which is a spiral containing at least two spiral sections and one non-spiral section located between them, and at least two wick sections, each of which is configured to supply the liquid to be heated to the heating element. The directions of the liquid supply to the heating element by the first and second sections of the wick are different. The first wick portion and the second wick portion are positioned to form a substantially cruciform shape. Efficient and / or effective entrainment and entrainment of the vaporized components resulting from heating of at least one wick with a heating element is provided.
EFFECT: presence of a non-spiral portion of the spiral helps to prevent excessive concentration of thermal energy from the heating element in the central portion of the wick. An even distribution of heat energy along the length of the wick is ensured.
