SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method for cutting articles in a stretchable film machine into forward motion in a continuous mode, comprising feeding articles wrapped in a continuous package into a cutting assembly, cutting of continuous package by cutting unit into finished units of products wrapped by stretch film. Cutting of solid package with articles is carried out by means of movable cutting device, which is shifted forward at the same speed as solid package with articles to be cut, implementation of the stage by performing transverse perimetric cutting of the forward continuous package with articles by means of a shifting movable cutting device, and moving movable cutting device back relative to forward continuous package with articles and performing new cutting stage. Cutting of forward continuous package with articles is carried out simultaneously in two points of package, spaced from each other by a certain distance in direction of solid package, equal to length of final package. In the first point of the package, cutting is carried out along two vertical sections, and in the second point of the package cutting is performed on two horizontal sections so, that by successive repetition of this stage of continuous package with products simultaneously final packing could be produced at two points.

EFFECT: invention provides high efficiency when packing products.
