SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an apparatus and method for mixing used polyester into a polyester melt. A method for producing polyester using recycled polyester flakes includes the following steps: branching a stream (1) of an intermediate product having a temperature above its melting point from an intermediate step in the primary polyester production process; mixing the stream (1) of the intermediate product with the recycled polyester flakes in a dynamic mixer (200); feeding the mixture (3) to the stage (102, 103, 104) located downstream of the intermediate stage, and / or returning the mixture (3) to the reaction stage (101, 102, 103), from which the intermediate product (1) was retracted in stage i); converting the mixture (3) to the desired degree of polycondensation in the final reactor (105) after passing through the filtration device (104); also, in step ii), no more than 60% of the melting energy required to melt all the recycled polyester flocs is generated and / or supplied. The peculiarity of the method lies in the fact that the stream (1) of the intermediate product is branched off from the intermediate stage during the production of primary polyester and mixed with flakes of recycled polyester in a dynamic mixer, while in the dynamic mixer, no more than 60% of the melting energy required for melting all recycled polyester flakes is generated and / or supplied. The mixture thus obtained is sent to the next stage downstream of the intermediate stage and is subsequently converted in the process to the desired degree of polycondensation.

EFFECT: as a result of the method, it becomes possible to recycle polyester or polyester waste.
