FIELD: performing operations; chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to recycling polyethylene terephthalate wastes. Disclosed is a method of producing a polyester depolymerizate, wherein a solid polyester recyclate is mixed with a liquid polyester depolymerizate and said mixture is melted, depolymerising agent is added to said melt at least once, which reacts with melt to obtain polyester depolymerizate, and then a branched stream of the obtained polyester depolymerizate is used for mixing with the polyester recyclate, and the residue of the polyester depolymerizate is obtained as a product, wherein the polyester recyclate is a polyethylene terephthalate recyclate, and the depolymerising agent is an ethylene glycol diol, characterized by that the liquid polyester depolymerizate, when mixed with the polyester recyclate, is charged with temperature of 250 to 300 °C, total holding time during depolymerisation is set ≤1.5 hours and the depolymerising agent per one weight fraction of the polyester recyclate is added in weight fractions of not more than 1:0.25; and a method of producing polyesters, in which a polyester depolymerizate is obtained by the disclosed method of producing a polyester depolymerizate.
EFFECT: optimization of the method of processing polyethylene terephthalate wastes by depolymerisation with a recycling degree of 25-100% with subsequent possibility of using the obtained depolymerizate for processing into polyester.
