FIELD: biotechnology; chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to biology, chemistry and biotechnology, specifically to the bioluminescent system of the Odontosyllis undecimdonta worm. Disclosed is compound 4-hydroxy-5-(sulphoxy)-7H-thieno[3,2-f]thiochromen-1,7,8-tricarboxylic acid:
or its tautomer - 4-hydroxy-5-(sulphoxy)-9H-thieno[3,2-f]thiochromen-1,7,8-tricarboxylic acid. Also disclosed are precursors of said compound and its tautomer - 7-(carboxycarbonyl)-4-hydroxy-5-(sulfooxy)-7H-thieno[3,2-f]thiochromene-1,8-dicarboxylic acid and 7-(carboxycarbonyl)-4-hydroxy-5-(sulfooxy)-9H-thieno[3,2-f]thiochromene-1,8-dicarboxylic acid, respectively. Invention also discloses a bioluminescent composition, methods and a kit for detecting luciferase in biological samples using said compounds.
EFFECT: said components of the Odontosyllis undecimdonta bioluminescent system are promising for use as reagents for a variety of analyzes, including diagnostic systems, quality control systems, drug testing systems, and so forth.
