SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a nucleator in form of particles and to polypropylene containing the nucleator. Nucleator in form of particles constitutes a transparent nucleator. The weight content of active ingredients in the nucleator in form of particles is 98% wt. The transparent nucleator contains large nucleator particles with an average volume of more than 200 mm³, medium-sized particles with an average volume of 0.5 to 200 mm³ and powder nucleator particles with an average volume of less than 0.5 mm³. Weight content of medium-sized nucleator particles in the entire nucleator ranges from 85.5 to 92.3% if the transparent nucleator is 1.3: 2.4-bis(p-methylbenzylidene)-D-sorbite or 1.3:2.4-bis(4ʹ-propylbenzylidene)-1-propylsorbite, or from 82.3 to 92% if the transparent nucleator is 1.3:2.4-bis(3,4-dimethylbenzylidene)-D-sorbite. Also described is polypropylene containing nucleator particles in the amount of 1-4% wt.

EFFECT: ensured uniform dispersion in polymer and reduced number of defects such as white dots in the polymer, improved flow characteristics of the nucleator combined with an average radial crush resistance of 0.2 to 25.0 N/cm.
