FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: power cable comprising at least one cable core, comprising a conductive core, a system for cross-linked electrical insulation, comprising an inner semiconducting layer, an insulating layer and an outer semiconducting layer, and zeolite particles arranged between current-conducting core and inner semiconducting layer of insulation system. Zeolite particles are capable of efficiently extracting and irreversibly absorbing by-products formed by the crosslinking reaction so as to avoid accumulation of space charge in the insulating material during the cable service life.
EFFECT: this allows eliminating high-temperature prolonged process of degassing of power cable cores with cross-linked insulating layer or at least reducing temperature and/or duration of this process in order to increase efficiency and reduce production costs.
