FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to assembled biological protection against ionizing radiation and can be used for protection of personnel of nuclear power facilities and other industries from ionizing radiation. Protection comprises a mobile module consisting of protective elements of different configuration, having connecting nodes of "dovetail" type with a fixing plate, providing fast assembly of the device and eliminating radiation shots in points of elements joints. Connecting units are configured to compose required structural form of mobile module, providing protection from above, from front and from sides. Module is also equipped with rotary cantilevers, allowing to change angle of rotation of side protective elements, and also comprises an element with a viewing window of increased view for visual inspection of performance of work and an element with sliding curtains, which limit area of radioactive working surface.

EFFECT: technical result is reduction of radiation dose of personnel due to protection from side and ceiling radiation, exclusion of radiation beam at points of connection of elements, limitation of area of working radioactive surface, as well as simplified assembly of structure.
