FIELD: microbiological industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to obtain protein biomass used in feeds for aquaculture, agricultural and domestic animals. The invention relates to the field of biotechnology and is Methylobacterium extorquens BF 19-02M strain of methanol-oxidizing bacteria deposited in the Bioresource Center All-Russian Collection of Industrial Microorganisms (BRTS VKPM) of the National Research Center “Kurchatov Institute” — GosNIIgenetika under registration number ВКПМ В-14231, as a producer for obtaining microbial protein mass. The activity of the strain is up to 5.2 kg×m3/hour. The concentration of biomass at the outlet of the fermenter is 15–19 g/l with a crude protein content in the biomass of 62–65%.
EFFECT: invention allows to expand the arsenal of means for the production of microbial protein mass, creating a new highly productive strain of Methylobacterium extorquens methanol-oxidizing bacteria used to obtain microbial protein mass with the ability to utilize hazardous organic waste (methanol) during cultivation without harming the environment, with strain resistance to changing conditions cultivation.
