SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a means of monitoring and diagnostics of a freight car. The device contains a body, consisting of a front part (1) of the body and a rear part (2) of the body. In the rear part (2) of the housing there is a generator containing a stator magnetic circuit (3) with coils (4) wound on it, inside which, by means of bearings (5), the shaft (6) of the rotor (7) with permanent magnets (8) installed in it rotates. , and block (9) sensors. The sensor block is located at the rear for more accurate sensor and system readings. In the front part (1) of the body there is an insert (10), which contains a battery (11), fixed by a cover (12), and an electronics board (13) with a processor unit (14), a memory unit (15) located on it, a GPS / GLONASS positioning unit (16), a communication unit (17), an external interface unit (18), a locking cover (19), and an antenna unit (20).
EFFECT: ability to control the nodes of a freight car with connected additional sensors.
